Description:The position's responsibilities include credit analysis, collections, deductions management, cash application, account reconciliation and resolution. You will render such business and professional services in the performance of your duties, consistent with your position, and such other similar duties as may be assigned to youSkills:Accounts receivable, Collection, A/R, Accounting, Reconciliation, Cash Application, Credit Analysis, Credit Risk, Credit Research, DeductionTop Skills Details:Cash Applications50% Credit/Collections50% Researching current customersExcelOrganizational SkillsAccounting KnowledgeAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Assess the credit worthiness of potential and existing customers, evaluate and establish appropriate customer credit limits based on results of credit review. Effectively communicate with accounts payable contacts, customer's management, or business owners in an effort to minimize past due items. Reduce or revoke credit limits upon receipt of negative external information pertinent to financial strength of account. Notify sales, customer service and shipping of "shipment holds" when a customer account becomes delinquent. Manage accounts receivable for all accounts, including cash application, account reconciliation, and deduction management. Work with management in the processing of deductions and clearly communicate expectations to sales team. Work with sales personnel, shipping, brokers and customers to research track and resolve unauthorized customer chargebacks. Monitor account receivables aging, and pursue collection on late paying accounts.
