Job Description:

Primary Purpose The Nursing Clinical Services Coordinator participates in coordination of clinical, academic and administrative activities which support the faculty and students and maintains program operations. Essential Functions Coordinates operational logistics associated with the program’s clinical activities. Communicates and build relationships with clinical education site coordinators, clinical faculty and preceptors. Maintains schedules for clinical rotations and maintains relationships with clinical placement coordinators in the healthcare facilities. Enter requests for clinical rotations. Assists with creation and maintenance of BRN forms related to clinical placement and clinical faculty. Arranges for orientation schedules for clinical faculty, adjunct faculty and preceptors. Assists with coordination of catering and room bookings for Clinical events, meetings, and SIM days onsite. Coordinates other clinical education activities (such as mask fittings and BLS trainings) as assigned. Inputs and maintains clinical education records Exxaat or other software and other clinical education activities, as assigned. Maintains clinical incident forms. Communicates need for onsite clinical activities or experiences to lab specialist. Orders program supplies for clinical faculty or clinical orientation, maintains clinical digital software/database. Subscriptions, and coordinates technical, facility and delivery activities. Reconciles and processes Pro-Card activity and statements. Coordinates requests for payment to vendors/accounts (Universal, Exxat,etc.). Supports and helps maintain program, faculty, staff and student clinical records. Collects and aggregates data for program and student assessment as assigned. Acts as a liaison to Recruitment, Admissions, Registrar Office, Financial Aid Office, Human Resources, and the School of Health Sciences to maintain student requirements ( BLS , immunizations and background checks) are up to date. Maintains email communication and addresses inquiries from prospective and current students regarding immunizations, background checks, and clinical requirements. Maintains student clinical databases and internal director. Assists with planning and coordination of events for the program and students. Oversees the clinical calendars, schedules and organizes meetings for the clinical purposes including meeting agendas, minutes and maintenance of records. Attend all partners meeting and clinical meetings with clinical leaders. Participates in the planning and organization of program, faculty, staff, or student events. Supports the overall mission of the Program by acting as a conduit between students, various campus entities, program faculty and staff, and other stakeholders. Supports students, answers student questions and routes inquiries as appropriate. Serves as a liaison between the program and other campus departments. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Two (2) years of post-high school education. (Two (2) years of full-time experience in the same/similar position is equal to one (1) year of completed post high-school education coursework). Two (2) years of responsible professional administrative work experience in a similar or related position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Work experience in an academic/university setting. Proficiency in the use computer applications, including Adobe Acrobat Pro, SharePoint, Banner, Exact, CAS and HR systems. Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, departments, and others. Excellent phone & customer service skills, office organization, event/meeting scheduling and records management skills. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work. Work Schedule Work is typically performed during standard business hours, but occasional evening and/or weekend hours may be required.
