Job Description:
AB Staffing is looking for Board Certified Behavior Analysts
(BCBA) that are available for the 2025/2026 school year. Multiple
upcoming openings across California: San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa
Ana, Quartz Hill, Concord, Oakland, San Jose, Pacifica, Antioch,
and more locations Salary: $60-$90/hr. DOE and location Board
Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) Requirements: Master’s degree
from an accredited college or university in a mental health related
field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work preferred.
Must be certified in the state of California as a BCBA Knowledge of
emotional and behavioral disorders Experience with instructional
and behavioral intervention methods in a school setting preferred.
Must possess strong communication and organizational skills. Must
demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks
simultaneously. Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended
periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed
material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at
normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that
others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and
the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions;
May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to
approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or
materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) Job Description: Caseload
and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school

experience and skillset Contract through the 2025/2026 school year
– 37.5 to 40 hours per week Contract follows the academic district
calendar Job Duties: Actively participate on various educational
teams to support proactive and responsive behavioral interventions
to support students with challenging behaviors. Support the
implementation of functional behavior assessments Lead,
development, and implement of applying applied behavior analysis
principles in the classroom, such as pairing, natural environment
teaching and discrete trial instruction. Assist in coordination of
school and home support for the purpose of providing a
comprehensive program for students. Assists in the development of
instructional materials, accommodations, modifications,
assessments, and data collection tools needed for individual
students. Collect and summarize behavior data for the purpose of
assessing and monitoring student progress. Demonstrate cooperation,
openness for growth and willingness to contribute to a team
approach to the educational program. Facilitate and coach teams
through the development and implementation of functional behavior
assessments/behavior intervention plans and crisis plans for
identified students. Provide social skills instruction to students
utilizing research-based methodologies and approved district
curricula. Participate in Professional Development Coaching team
meetings and professional learning opportunities. When you work
