Job Description Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently
seeking a Assembler- 3rd Shift at our Reno, NV facility! The core
hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00pm to 6:30am. Overtime
may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The rate for this
position is $22.00. Please note the salary information shown above

more! /n /n What you'll do: In this function, you will: • Perform
simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components • Use
bolts, screws, hand tools, clips and other fastening devices • Work
under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or
simple diagrams • Handle 50-pound parts to assist with large part
construction • Remove excess weld, slag, spatter, and rough spots
from workpieces using grinders, brushes or scrapers. • Support all
facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but
not limited to: o Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine,
standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas. o
Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not
limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to
provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor. o Encourage,
support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events
throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: • No relocation is available
for this position, only candidates that currently reside within 50
miles of the Reno, NV facility will be considered. Active-Duty
Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical
area limitation. • Eaton will not consider applicants for

I-485 job portability, etc. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous
experience with manufacturing fabrication. • Demonstrated welding
ability / knowledge - A welding demonstration is preferred • Set-up
and troubleshoot welding equipment. • Examine and measure
workpieces for defects and to ensure conformance. • Ability to weld
aluminum and steel. • Ability to read blueprints and shop orders.
Responsible for safety, quality, production quotas, and all
documentation associated with product movement and confirmations.
Position Success Criteria: • Ability to communicate effectively in
written and verbal format in English. • Able to stand on feet
continuously during working shift. • Require fine manipulation of
hands with repetitive motion. • Troubleshoot and resolve problems
as they arise. • Handle materials that pertain to large part
construction, weighing 50 pounds multiple times per day. Physical
Demands: • Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
• Able to regularly lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable
accommodation. Occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in
some areas). • Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift
activity. • Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and
