Responsibilities
$5,000 sign-on bonus available; current employees are not eligible. This position provides the opportunity to practice as a Registered Nurse floating to our Labor & Delivery/Family Birth Center Emergency Room Telemetry Medical Surgical and MSCC ICU units and experience a wide variety of patient populations. • Assessment teaching planning and coordinating care including discharge needs.
• Performance of RN-specific tasks and providing team leadership to assure that care is accomplished effectively and efficiently.
• Accurate assessment of basic and lethal cardiac rhythms with demonstrated understanding of appropriate interventions and medications.
• Accurate assessment of medical/surgical complications/multi system/trauma pain with demonstrated understanding of appropriate interventions.
• Accurate interpretation and use of unit-specific equipment.

    Qualifications
    Position Requirements:
    • CA RN License
    • BLS and ACLS American Heart Association issued
    • PALS within 6 months of hire
    • Accurate assessment of basic and lethal cardiac rhythms with demonstrated understanding of appropriate interventions and medications
    • Accurate assessment of medical/surgical complications/multi system/trauma pain with demonstrated understanding of appropriate interventions
    • Accurate interpretation and use of unit-specific equipment
    • Utilize appropriate resources for decision making when caring for complex cardiac or medical/surgical patients
    • Ability to read speak and write English
    • Computer skills required Preferred Experience:
      • • Emergency experience
        • Maternal Child experience
          Pay Range
          $63.38 - $87.64 /hour
