• Certification Details
• Dysrhythmia Exam (Basic) through UNA is required to be sent along with acceptance.
• Must be completed within 24-48 hrs.
• It's pass or fail, and they get two attempts (Test A should be assigned first, and if not passed, Test B should be assigned for the retake).
• A screenshot showing the number of attempts is also required.

  • A hospital near Sacramento is looking for an experienced Telemetry RN for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CA License.

    • Hold an active CA License
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts. Shift starts at 6:45 AM. Report is at the bedside.
      • OT and extra shifts are available.
      • Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until the Manager balances it.
      • Schedules are out 4 weeks. Travelers can access their schedules from home and make themselves 'available' for extra shifts and make trades with other staff.
      • Block scheduling is generally not available.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Telemetry 2 South
        • Beds: 14 South, 8 East
        • Ratios: 1:4
        • EMR: Cerner
        • Charge Nurse does not take patients but will do break relief.
        • Nurse Aides as census and staffing dictate; 1-2 normally.
        • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
        • Holidays are rotated in with core staff.
        • Scrub Color: Navy - under shirts must be navy, white, or black.
        • Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.
        • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Cardiac patient focus, general overflow. Stable non-titrating Cardizem, Amio, Heparin.
          • Additional Details
          • Modules are required to be done before the start of the assignment.
          • Modules take on average 3-4 hours to complete-this time is not billable.
          • For Holiday RTO: Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years).
          • Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed.
