(AFM), BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE

Charting System: Cerner
Unit Notes
need 2 sup refs (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 w/in 12 mo. & 1
w/in 3 years worked
For Holiday RTO: Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays
(Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years). Unit managers will make
the final call on scheduling, but we would include this verbiage on
the confirmation. **Holiday time off will be considered, however
not guaranteed**
Profile review by clinical team then sent to unit manager for
consideration.
***COMMON SPIRIT SAC REGION FACILITY-WIDE ORIENTATION IS IN
SACRAMENTO - NOT GRASS VALLEY!!***
- Unit: Family Birthing Center
- # beds: L&D - 4, MB - 8
- Certs: BLS, ACLS, NRP and Advanced Fetal Monitoring are required.
At least 2 year of L&D experience.
- Ratios: L&D - 1:2, 1:1 active delivery. MB - 1:4
(couplets)
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: Yes, generally does not take patients, but will do
break relief.
- Nurse Aides: No
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Nights - Fri, Sat, Sun.
Days - Sat, Sun.
- Holidays Rotate in with core staff
- Scrub Color: Provided
