Overview:Occupational TherapistHand TherapyPer Diem - PRNSan Rafael, CA*minimum 1-2 yrs experience in hands required*Select Physical Therapy is seeking a per diem (PRN) occupational hand therapist for our outpatient orthopedic clinic in San Rafael, CA. Our clinics are fully equipped to provide care to patients ranging from post-surgical cases, to non-operative conditions, to work conditioning. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other clinicians and therapists. If you are looking for a stable company with an ACTIVE, GROWING and THRIVING national Hand Therapy program, let's talk!Hourly rate starting at: $52.00 per hour up to $65.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)Schedule needs include:Coverage as needed on a week by week basis(Mon-Fri: No Weekends)Must be able to work independentlyWe offer access to our locally hosted CEU accrediting courses for our per diem/ PRN clinicians.Responsibilities:Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how occupational therapists may practice and whom occupational therapists may supervise.Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom occupational therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.Qualifications:Must be a graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited school of occupational therapyValid State Occupational Therapy License requiredCardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or within 1 year eligibility to sit for CHT examPreferred Qualifications:BilingualAdditional Data:Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
