The pharmacist will be the sole overnight pharmacist on duty, supported by a pharmacy technician, and will oversee pharmaceutical care across three hospitals and three free-standing emergency departments (FEDs). This is a high-responsibility role suited for a proactive and confident professional with at least 5 years of acute-care inpatient experience. Familiarity with Cerner is a plus, though training can be provided. Key Responsibilities: Independently manage pharmacy operations overnight. Provide pharmaceutical services across multiple facilities. Ensure accurate medication dispensing and compliance with standards. Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians. Maintain and utilize automated pharmacy systems. Uphold all regulatory and patient safety standards. Licenses & Certifications: Current Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada (Required) BLS Certification (Required) ACLS Certification (Required) Experience: Minimum 5 years in an acute-care inpatient hospital setting. Must be experienced working solo overnight in a large facility. Previous experience covering multiple sites simultaneously preferred. Skills: Basic computer proficiency. Familiarity with automated pharmacy systems and IV Laminar Flow Hoods (or willingness to learn). Strong communication skills (verbal and written in English); additional languages a plus. Initiative-driven and proactive approach to patient care and operations. Physical Requirements: Must be able to meet physical demands including vision, hearing, and repetitive motion.
