Job Description AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in RENO, Nevada. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description & Requirements/n /nRegistered Nurse – Telemetry - Travel - (Tele RN)/n /nStartDate: 7/14/2025 /nAvailable Shifts: 12 D /nPay Rate: $1794.64 - $1977.77 /n /n29 bed unit that is staffed with RN's and CNA/CCT's. Staffing matrix is between 1:4-6 patients. Ancillary staff includes, but is not limited to, a Rapid Response Team, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, Respiratory Therapists, and Physical and Occupational Therapists. Patient population is a combination of tele and medical status patients, all tele patients are monitored remotely by a CCT. Patient population includes treatment of any medical or stable telemetry diagnoses - COPD, sepsis, COVID and other respiratory illnesses, ETOH withdrawl, DM, GI bleed, etc. May float to Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medical appropriate assignment, medical-surgical units, as well Renown South Meadows./nExtremely busy and fast paced environment serving a 500-mile radius. Level 2 trauma center, Stroke accreditation, 800 inpatient bed hospital, 80 ER beds. The volume and pace required to work here are that of level 1 trauma center/n Required Qualifications Registered Nurse, Telemetry Licenses: RN-NV Certifications: ACLS-AHA; BLS-AHA SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 0 days of gap in entire work history References: 2 References in entire work history 60-mile radius rule. AMN currently has a requirement where NV state background check with fingerprints is required to start, this process can take up to 45 days.
