Job Description Generis Tek Inc. is seeking a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Chico, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Radiology Manager and the supervision of the Lead IR Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. The Interventional Technologist (IR Tech) will be a Diagnostic Technologist which is cross trained in Interventional Radiology. Assumes responsibility for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist operates X-ray equipment, prepares patient’s room, equipment, supplies, and contrast media. The Tech will be responsible for charging supplies and Current Procedural Terminology codes. EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Desired: Two years experience in diagnostic x-ray Previous interventional experience One year experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist in an acute healthcare facility. LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum: Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) Current CPR certification ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire Desired: ARRT Advanced Level Interventional Certification (Cardiovascular Interventional Technology) Generis Tek Job283712./n About Generis Tek Inc.
