TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Santa Rosa, California, 95405! Pay Information $2,579 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:00 - 14:30) Experience: Minimum of five years in PACU or recovering cardiac patients License: Valid State License required Certifications: Required certifications related to nursing Must-Have: Experience working with recovering cardiac patients Description: This position involves working in the pre and post-procedure area for cardiac procedures. Experience with recovering cardiac patients is required. Start times may vary from 06:00 to 11:00. There is a call requirement of up to three shifts in a two-week period, which may include weekend call. Weekend call is from Saturday 06:00 to Sunday 06:00 and Sunday 06:00 to Monday 06:00. Candidates must have PACU or cardiac catheterization recovery experience. Minimum experience of five years is preferred. The staffing ratio is 1:3. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend availability is required. On-call availability is required. Travelers may need to float between similar units as part of their duties. Local candidates are accepted. References must include a minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of employment in a comparable specialty or setting. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in the termination of the assignment. Providers will receive necessary communication devices for job duties. Housing options should be explored in advance, as availability may be limited. Modules are part of the onboarding process.
