Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 11/11/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Source Medical Staffing is hiring an Acute Inpatient Rehab SLP for a 13 week travelcontract for a Hospital in Grass Valley, CA to start 11/11/2025 for 13 weeks. Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Grass Valley, CA, Shift Notes Sun-Wed, 8 hr shifts Guaranteed Hours 32 hours per week Required Certifications BLS, CCC-SLP Charting System Cerner For Holiday RTO: Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years). Unit managers will make the final call on scheduling, but we would include this verbiage on the confirmation. Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed Department: SLP of patients treated per day 8-10 General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Other Required certs for all SLP? Do they prefer or require CCC-SLP &/or CCC-A credential? CCC-SLP Common diagnosis / Types of patients Inpatient Dysphagia and Cog evals. Outpatient Cog, aphasia, dysphasia, Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient? Acute inpatient / Outpatient What areas are they required to cover? Acute inpatient and outpatient Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties Must have acute care experience managing patients with dysphagia Rehab Aides: SLA's None Shifts & Scheduling W,Th, F 7:30-6 Weekend Requirement potential 1 weekend day per month Holiday Requirement no Scrub Color/Dress Code Burgundy top polo, black scrub bottoms Department specific orientation Yes Pay Packages are all inclusive, built on 40 HRS/13 weeks and subject to confirmation and other fees not defined by facility.
