Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time occupational therapy position is available within a K-12 school setting in Chico, CA. This contract role runs through the current school year, ending in early June 2026. The position requires a licensed occupational therapist to provide onsite services approximately two days per week, totaling 14-15 hours. The caseload details are still being finalized but may include evaluations and re-evaluations. Candidates with preferences regarding types of cases or responsibilities are encouraged to communicate these when applying to ensure a good fit. Key qualifications and experience: - Valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) license - Experience working with school-aged children, preferably across K-12 settings - Ability to conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and provide direct therapy services in a school environment - Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams Primary responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy services in compliance with individualized education program (IEP) goals - Complete evaluations and re-evaluations as needed to assess student needs - Collaborate with school staff to support student participation and success within the educational environment - Document and maintain accurate records following applicable regulations and school policies Work location and schedule: - Position based onsite in Chico, CA - Part-time schedule, approximately two days per week (14-15 hours) - Contract role through June 5, 2026 This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on student development within a supportive educational framework.
