SALARY RANGE: Network Systems Technician : $2,555.57 - $3,775.76
Bi-weekly ($66,444.82 - $98,169.76 Annual) Help Desk Technician :
$2,378.12 - $3,513.57 Bi-weekly ($61,831.12 - $91,352.82 Annual)

Supervisor The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is one of 21
Regional Centers that are community-based, private non-profit
corporations under contract with the California Department of
Developmental Services. RCEB provides intake, assessment,
diagnosis, and coordinates community-based services for over 25,000
children and adults with developmental disabilities in Alameda and
Contra Costa counties. RCEB envisions a future where persons with
developmental disabilities are truly a part of the community.
Persons with developmental disabilities receive supports and
services they need to succeed. The supports and services change as
the need changes. In our dream, children with developmental
disabilities live with families in typical communities. Many choose
to attend their neighborhood schools and play with neighborhood
friends. Adults with developmental disabilities live in the
residence of their choice – with family members, with friends, or
with their spouse / significant other. They engage in activities of
their choice – work, volunteering, education, training, or leisure.
They have meaningful relationships with friends and coworkers and
are seen as valuable, contributing members of their communities.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, this position supports
the organization's technical operations, including desktop
hardware/software, server and network infrastructure, VoIP
telecommunications, database, and web applications. The role will
be filled based on the candidate's qualifications, either as a
Network Systems Technician or Help Desk Technician . Candidates
with only Help Desk support experience are encouraged to apply.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : For Network Systems
Technician: Maintain and support all server, network, and desktop
hardware and software. Perform tasks to ensure functionality of
VoIP telecommunication systems. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot
database and web applications. Create, manage, and troubleshoot
system and user accounts. For Help Desk Technician: Provide
first-level technical support for hardware, software, and user
accounts via phone or email. Set up and maintain desktop/laptop
hardware and software. Manage and troubleshoot VoIP
telecommunication systems. Maintain inventory of Information
Systems hardware and software. Support the Door Card System. Shared
Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as required.
Collaborate effectively with a diverse staff and demonstrate
cultural awareness. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : For Network Systems
Technician: College degree in Computer Science or related field
highly desirable. At least 2 years of Help Desk experience and 1
year of experience with network systems. Experience with database
and web development, maintenance, and delivery. For Help Desk
Technician: High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year of Help
Desk experience. For Both Roles: Ability to identify and resolve
hardware and software issues. Strong oral and written communication
skills. Valid driver’s license (CDL) and reliable, insured
transportation. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. APPLICATION
