Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on
a wide range of construction and real estate law matters. Draft,
review and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents
related to real estate and construction projects. Represent clients
in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to
defend or prosecute in civil litigation. Conduct legal research and
analysis of laws, regulations, and court decisions. Advise clients
regarding ongoing litigation or to explain legal rights,
obligations, and legal issues. Develop strategies and arguments in
preparation for presentation of cases. Prepare and draft legal
documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages,
leases, and contracts. Coordinate with a team of legal
professionals and paralegals for case preparation. Maintain current
knowledge of industry trends and legal changes that may impact the
company's business. Perform other duties as assigned by senior
attorneys or partners. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree
from an accredited law school. Must be licensed to practice law in
the state. Minimum of 3 years of law practice experience,
specifically in construction law and real estate law. Excellent
knowledge of federal, state, and local laws. Proven background in
drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal documents. Exceptional
analytical skills with the ability to develop legal strategies and
arguments. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve
disputes in a manner that minimizes potential legal risks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work
independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills,
ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet
deadlines. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
