onsite position SUMMARY The Inventory Control Specialist is
responsible for enhancing operational efficiency by improving
process flows and driving continuous improvement initiatives across
departments at the site. This role develops and maintains standard
operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring processes are clearly
documented and consistently followed. The Specialist role also
supports end-user training, providing guidance and resources to
ensure successful inventory system adoption and implementation.
Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, this
position helps optimize system performance, strengthen user
capability, and support ongoing business process improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reasonable accommodation may

to, the following: · Serve as the primary Inventory system expert,
advising cross-functional departments on best practices, process
design, and system utilization. · Lead continuous improvement
initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and
enhance data integrity within inventory system modules ·
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Operations,
Supply Chain, etc.) to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, and
implement system/process enhancements. · Conduct root cause
analysis and develop corrective/preventive actions for recurring
inventory system or process issues. · Design and maintain standard
operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation for plant
inventory to ensure consistency and compliance. · Organize and
drive collaborative meetings and workshops to support inventory
process improvement and system implementation efforts. · Support
end-user training, knowledge sharing, and change-management
activities to ensure adoption of improved inventory processes. ·
Monitor inventory KPIs and performance metrics to track benefits
realized through process and system improvements. · Assist in
improving inventory management processes by strengthening inventory
control practices, enhancing cycle count and physical count
accuracy, and supporting departmental audits to minimize
discrepancies and variances · Stay current with inventory system
upgrades, releases, and emerging technologies, assessing their
applicability to business operations. · Manage daily inventory
operations by tracking raw materials, WIP, and finished goods;
performing physical counts; reconciling discrepancies; and ensuring
FIFO compliance. · Utilize inventory system to monitor inventory
movements, transactions, consumption, and to generate reports on
trends, discrepancies, and production needs. · Communicate
inventory insights by reporting inventory status, shortages, and
surpluses to management and key stakeholders to support production
and planning decisions. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
duty satisfactorily. The following list that follows is
representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE · A degree in supply chain management,
business, or a related field and applicable work experience are
preferred. · 3 years of relevant work experience in warehousing,
inventory management, or logistics-related environments. ·
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be
considered. · Prior involvement in SAP implementations, upgrades,
or enhancement projects. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES ·
Demonstrated background in process improvement, workflow
optimization, or continuous improvement initiatives. · Prior
experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, including
supporting system improvements or training end users. · Experience
creating SOPs, training materials, or documentation for system
processes. · Proficiency in reporting, data analysis, and system
troubleshooting. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
capable of influencing across all levels of the organization with
ability to train and support end users. · Strong problem-solving
and critical-thinking abilities. · Detail-oriented with strong
documentation skills. · Ability to collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. · Ability to
lead effective meetings, drive alignment, and ensure clear
