-About the businessWant to be on the ground-floor of a company
whose goal is to be the market leader for home services in the
local 55+ active living retirement communities and franchise the
concept to other territories with similar 55+ communities? Student
Services concentrates on serving the Sacramento area 55+ active
living retirement communities by doing "A+ home services" such as
gutter cleaning, window cleaning, solar panel cleaning, and
Christmas light hanging & removal. More than a dozen of our
employees, interns, and project team members have rated their
experience by giving us a 9.3+ out of 10 Employee Net Promoter

Canvasser will start at $17/hour (living wage in Placer County).
The compensation range for this role depends on if the Canvasser
works part-time (as few as 4 hours per week) or full-time (up to 40
hours per week) and may range from $3,536 to $35,360 per year
accordingly. Based on work experience and performance, other
aspects of the compensation package include:
Lead commissions (full-time and
part-time employees are eligible)
Get compensated for getting leads for
jobs -Essential job functionsDistribute door hangers and bandit
signsDevelop contact with potential customersFacilitate customer
inquiriesMaintain a superior knowledge of the Student Services'
home servicesCreate new approaches or strategies to help the sales
team to increase revenue and reach monthly, quarterly, and annual
goalsAttend team meetings and provide information about sales,
goals, and obstaclesPerform other duties as assigned -Essential
physical functionsCanvassers must be able to do the following
physical tasks: -
Talk and hear over the phone, and in
personStand, walk, reach, balance, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or
crawlVision abilities require driving, as well as close
readingLifting and carrying up to 50 poundsWork in a variety of
weather conditions, besides snow, including both hot and wet
conditions such as over 100 Fahrenheit heat in the summer and rain
in the Winter -Essential mental functionsThe Canvasser has limited
down time. The Canvasser must be resilient, especially when
conducting outside sales. The Canvasser may also need to have the
ability to do math (spreadsheets) and interact with other people.
