Sierra Retail Store at The Crossing – Sales Associate
(part-time) The Sierra at Tahoe retail store at The Crossing in
South Lake Tahoe is a great place to work if you like to interact
with guests, have a strong attention to detail and enjoy selling
clothing, footwear and other outdoor-related items. it is also
conveniently located in town at the Y. As a part-time position, we
are currently looking for someone that is available and willing to
work weekends. Duties and Responsibilities include : 1. Responsible
for assisting guests in selecting the appropriate retail items
including clothing, footwear, eye wear, etc. 2. Gain and share
product knowledge to assist in the purchase process. 3. Complete
cash & credit transactions on the point-of-sale system. 4. May also
answer phones and assist with guest questions. 5. Contribute to
team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming
responsibility for the cleanliness of the store and safety of
guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; maintain a
positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and
external interactions. 6. Flexible working hours. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree
(G.E.D.); or one to three months related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
